Handcrafted mermaid necklace inspired by Art Nouveau jewelry design. This is an enchanting mermaid, with hand applied verdigris patina, swimming under a large glass cabochon. It is set inside an antiqued brass Art Deco style filigree. Two beautiful ice blue ab faceted glass beads hold a triple Art Deco style chain necklace.
Amphitrite was amongst the most beautiful of all the water nymphs of Greek mythology. She was a sea goddess and wife of Poseidon and the queen of the sea. The mermaid symbolizes feminine independence, renewal and good luck.
